OMG.... this is amazing! I have recently moved back from living overseas and we had two queen head and footboards AND a crib in storage, none of which we want to use again. This sure gives me inspiration to do something more than sell them. Outdoor furniture is expensive! Now all I need to do is go buy some power tools. Thanks again for such a great idea! Hollie

I just wanted to e mail you to let you know I saw your web site. I got SO many amazing ideas from it! I started searching the web for ideas for some old windows I got recently and found your site. I looked for hours. LOVED it. Bev

Hey there! I just wanted to let you know that I just ran across your site and I had to tell you that I was blown away by your creativity! Your ideas and projects really got the wheels in my head turning and helped me with some decorating ideas for my house. Thank you so much for you time, you look like you are very busy! Ashley from Ohio.

Who can make a cool-looking chair out of an old baby crib, a shutter and some bits of bannister? Why, the Robolady can! She turns game pieces into jewelry, school lockers into funky storage, and sows' ears into some fashionable handbags. Well, okay, not literally that last one. But if she wanted to, I'm sure she could. And all in record-time! From ThriftSRomantic

I just wanted to let you know how wonderful I think your website is! I have had 2 children's headboards sitting around forever and I finally know what to do with them! I'm going to make some benches! It was a delight to look through your pages...I'm recovering from surgery and this was a great way to spend my time. Blessings, Lisa

thanks to your instructions i made me some tipsy pots! everyones impressed by them... everynight i look at your website to see whats new on there and to get more ideas... Jennifer

Your site is so inspiring!! I would love to sit with you over a cup of tea and hear all about how you got started!! I am having a hard time with the mechanics of how to put things together ( how did you hang the hand mirrors on the wall?) And I need a nail gun!!! Keep up the good work! Dianna from PA

Wow...I've only looked at the old windows page and already have tons of ideas to use for the ones I have kicking around. Can't wait to view the rest of your site. Thanks so much for having so many great ideas in one place. Cathy

Thank you again, and just so you know, your’s is the FIRST blog I have ever read (just no time to look) and it is very fun, informative, and you are a sister in Christ! God bless. Heidi

I just stumbled onto your website. I am a teacher and since school has been out I have been watching Design on a Dime and have fallen in love with the Trash to Treasures segment. Long story short, I finally got on the internet to see if I could find instructions for any of their projects and I eventually fell into your website. Tammy

Hello, I stumbled across your website and after just a few minutes I added it to my favorites so I can visit often! I love your work! Everything is so sweet and stylish and my favorite, made by recycling!! I am one of "those" people who is always going to start something. I am so bad about buying glue/stain/metal leafing/glass pieces, etc, and then it all just sits. I have all this creative energy in me but I just can't seem to get it out! So, I hope to start small and really start making fun things to enjoy. My garden is especially inspiring right now so maybe that's a start?! Anyway, I just wanted to share how great your pieces are and I'll think of your website when I need a little push to get going! Have a great day, Heather B.

I just wanted to say hello and tell you how much I enjoyed your website. I’m not sure if you would remember me or not from our graduating class. I’m Lori D... I remember you and am pretty sure we had some classes together. I love to antique too. I don’t have near the stuff you do but I could see myself doing that.

Hi! i stumbled on your website looking for ways to decorate old windows! what a great site!! ive gotten so many ideas i cant wait to try them! thanks!! -Jennifer

I ran across your blog via (I think your) Trash to Treasure page, which I ran across via the Garden Junk MSN page. You know how those things are, you just follow a link and before you know it (and 5 hours later) you end up on a really cool site and can't leave! Needless to say, your blog has been added to my Favorites so I'll be checking in frequently. This is great stuff! Anne

I wanted to just drop you a quick email to let you know how much I loooooove your site. I can get on it and get lost for hours. Even if they're projects I've already seen in previous visits, I always seem to find some new inspiration. My love of trash to treasure came out of pure necessity----no money for the finer things in life and I have to tell you, I'd much rather have something that has some character that I made rather than purchasing some over-priced item at Pottery Barn. :) Lori

oh my gosh, i think i died and went to heaven!!! your site is fantastic; i've saved to my favorites. thank you, thank you, thank you!!! maggiejoe

Hi Robolady! You have the best T2T site on the web! I've been gathering junk for a few years now and you've given me so many good ideas I just had to say thankyou - thankyou - THANKYOU! Paula

You inspire me to get out to my garage. I Love your ideas and appreciate all of the time you put into it. BTW, I also have recently started a hand mirror collection-- I am up to 4 now, but will not pay more than $5, so it may take awhile! Have a great day! Love in Christ, Becky

I must let you know... You're the one who really spurred me on to the whole T2T thing! I LOVE the style! (Other than the fact that I'm 20, living at home, and I think I drive my poor mom crazy! Can't wait to get a home of my own!) Your website is SO helpful! It's really "evolved" into quite the resource! THANKS!!! ~Nicole

I just wanted to thank you for the many inspiring ideas on your site, I have now done tipsy pots, bottle bugs, and hung window panes on my fence for a trellis. I have to share with you that yesterday I found a cast iron bed in the trash and will be perfect for my flower bed!! I was thrilled my DH not so much but whatever makes me happy he said. luv2junk

I have a couple of things I've done in the T2T category and when I can I will take a picture and send it. But the items are not at my house so it my be a while. I think I'm going to try the teacups on the chandelier thing this afternoon. I have bookmarked your site and will definitley be back often. I actually bought two old suitcases ($2 each) yesterday at yard sales just because of seing the things people did with them on your site. One of them is so musty inside I don't know if I'll ever get the smell out. It has a dark green satiny lining in beautiful condition so I'm afraid to use anything like Febreeze for fear it will stain it. Right now I have a bunch of dryer sheets inside. If you have any tips, I'd love to hear them. Nancy... See the Questions & Answers page for my advise

Thanks for posting your website. I loved it. So much color and fun in the artwork you do. You have a terrific heart. Please keep up the good work

I found your web site to be fabulous. I can not get enough of it. I just found you about a week ago and I have been in and looked every day. Shirley, North Carolina

I just wanted to stop and say "hi"... I really enjoyed your website and creativity! I've become the "trash lady" with my family and friends recently. I love finding things for free or almost nothing and turning it into something useful or a piece of art/decor. I currently looking for some great ideas (got quite a few from your website - thanks!) for putting together some pieces to sell in a local shop. I would love to start a shop of my own, but not sure how to go about it. Well, thanks again for your great website. Take care and God bless! Jennifer

On your website, you said to email you if we found a particular project inspiring. Well, I just wanted you to know that I can't narrow it down to just one! I have been saving your projects in a file for a good while. I used to go to HGTV's Trash to Treasure forum a lot and thought your things were so cool and right up my alley. At that time I worked full time and just saved pictures. Now, at the ripe old age of 49, I have been fortunate enough to semi-retire and plan to actually do some of them. My husband is getting a little tired of all the "junk" (such an unkind word!) that I have accumulated and wants to know what am I going to do with it. He tired with a good attitude though! That's all. Just wanted to tell you that I really like your stuff and your web site. Bee

I found your website to be extra exciting - thanks for all your ideas -... Lorraine

I found your web site a while back. It totally inspired me to start getting into T2T. Ever since then it has been a passion for me. I surf the HGTV T2T forum and saw you were on it as well. Then today I decide to see if you had anything new on your site and saw the link on windows that lead to Dave's garden. I started it!!! I am lavenderwolf. I am also from Texas and have been looking for ways to turn my passion in to profit. Is this a small world or what. lol Again I love your web site. Keep up the good work! Brandy

Hi Margo, my friend just sent me your site today so instead of doing housework I have been ogling all your stuff! -Clydene

Margo...I have just spent the last hour or so going through your web site.....I live in las vegas now but when I lived in san diego ca we had a great salvage house to wonder through, you have inspired me with so many ideas i see a road trip back to san diego for junk.....so wish I lived closer so I could see all your great creatives in person. I love yd sales, flea markets and I am always eye balling the piles on trash day. Of course my friends all think I am just being alittle off my rocker.....but I can honstly say I love the oows and ahhhhs when whatever project I complete is viewed by people who just can't see the end result in thier mind. I found you on the hgtv message board. thanks for all the great ideas you have shared so willingly.- dee- las vegas nv

I decorate with quilts; have tried to give it that "down home country" feel. Take care and I will keep enjoying your website. God Bless you and your family. -Kathy

I am exploring the HGTV pages today and I discovered your posting in the message board! You have such great ideas and a great imagination! I love the pictures and I really appreciate your sharing the links with us!!! My son just bought an old home -- like 137 yrs old -- and he's had to do some renovations to the home... He had to redo a banister in the upstairs because it wasn't very stable and it didn't meet codes... But I refused to let him threw away the spindels because the are all handmade!!! I love some of your ideas like the window valances and the angels! Can't wait to show them to him and his wife! -Faye

Hello I love your stuff Also do you sell anything? Love your stuff. Kind regards,-Brooke
